Stan Planton Remembered

Stan was a Black Belt under Soke Madden at the Chillicothe Dojo. He traveled with the AKJU Team on many international trips.
Born and raised in Foxborough, Mass, attended Beloit College 1965-1970, graduated with BA/MAT, and then attended UW-Madison for a MLS degree. Married Margaret Farmer Planton in 1970. Held various library positions ending up as Head Librarian at Ohio University-Chillicothe. Member, American Karate and Ju-Jitsu Union, Black Belt Hall of Fame inductee. Best known for helping an up-and-coming author, Dan Brown, research his books, including Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. Now retired.
